Cipher, who is acted by Charlize Theron, is one of the new villains the Fast and Furious family should contend with. From what we’ve viewed, Cipher has altered Dom into working with her side and going against his family. Although the explanation is still unidentified, it was shown that Cipher met up with Dom in Cuba, during his honeymoon with Letty.

The film’s cast contains Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Kurt Russell, and the majority of the other major characters from previous sequels along with the newcomers Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, and Scott Eastwood. The Fate of The Furious First Trailer
After the first trailer for Fast & Furious 8 presented the movie seem to be a demolition derby, the second official preview for the film was released on March 9 and loaded in even more vehicle chaos. From a destroying ball that sweeps through a masses of cars to an army of remote-controlled kamikaze commuter automobiles adopting the cast, the second trailer only about has it all when it comes to high-speed, metal-twisting carnage. And that, together with a healthy number of common faces from films past, is probably just what fans are hoping to see from the next movie.
The Fate of The Furious Second/Supercharged Trailer
Admirers of the Fast and Furious series scored a special treat throughout Super Bowl LI, thanks to a new trailer that first showed during the huge game. The television spot included a few previously unseen footage from the movie, and made it apparent that despite being the eighth film in the franchise, The Fate of the Furious isn’t indicating any indications of taking its foot off the accelerator.
At the beginning of the film’s development, Diesel hinted that The Fast and the Furious director Rob Cohen, who worked for launch the franchise, might come back to the director’s chair for the eighth sequel. However, he officially released F. Gary Gray as the film’s director on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon October 14, 2015. Gray swaps with James Wan (Furious 7) and gets to be the newest name added to the amazing list of Fast and Furious filmmakers over the years - a list which also comes with Justin Lin (The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Fast & Furious, Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6) along with Academy Award nominee John Singleton (2 Fast 2 Furious).
Returning once again to the part of Dominic Toretto is Vin Diesel, who has shown up in some form (whether as a primary character or even in a cameo) in six of the seven movies in the franchise. Others coming back include major roles Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez), Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson), Tej Parker (Chris “Ludacris” Bridges). Supporting characters Tego Leo (Tego Calderon), Rico Santos (Don Omar), Elena Neves (Elsa Pataky), Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel) and the inexplicable CIA operative Mr. Nobody (Kurt Russell) are also scheduled to return for The Fate of the Furious. The upcoming movie will include the return of a terrific villain, too. Deadly assassin Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) will come back for another showdown with the team, although this time around he might be forced to work with Hobbs and his crew.
The newest sequel of the Fast and the Furious series greets two Oscar-winning performers. Academy Award winner Charlize Theron (Monster, Mad Max: Fury Road) will perform the film’s major villain, Cipher, a criminal mastermind who in some way manages to convert Dominic Toretto against his longtime allies and even his wife, Letty . Likewise making her first appearance in the franchise is another Academy Award winner, Helen Mirren (The Queen, The Last Station), who will play an mysterious character in the movie. She’s joined by Gran Torino actor Scott Eastwood, who will perform the protege of Russell’s black operations agent.
Who Won't Be There
Franchise actor Paul Walker’s death in November 2013 in the end required the Furious 7 team to use a combination of digital effects and body doubles - including Walker’s brothers Caleb and Cody - to accomplish his part of the movie, and his character was given an emotional send-off in the movie’s last scene.
The absence of Brian in the movie also means that movie star Jordana Brewster’s character, Mia Toretto, isn’t required to make an appearance. Brian’s wife and Dominic Toretto’s sister, Mia will seemingly be a part of her husband in moving forward from their high-octane journeys.
